The Hanse 548, a brand new sailboat with an elegant design and sporty lines, is a fast cruiser with all the qualities necessary to take you far away for a longtime, with speed, ease and safety. At more than 16 meters in length and with a 5 meter beam, the Hanse 548 was designed to be comfortable, efficient and sea worthy.
Hanse 548: Easy to sail
Maneuvers are handled at two ergonomic helm stations. The two electric winches are enough for all maneuvers. It is therefore possible to sail this 55 feet sailboat single handed. The self-tacking jib makes tacking easy. At the bow, 2 fore-stays allow for the variety of sail choices that will fit your type of sailing. Movement on board is fluid, the side decks are wide and the bridge is unobstructed. It can accommodate two very large and comfortable sun-beds.
To aft, the electro-hydraulic operated swim platform provides easy
access to the sea thanks to the folding helm station seats, the built-in steps and a very clever swim ladder. Finally, a large tender garage and telescoping davits facilitate access to the boat.
The cockpit is spacious for its category. Both cockpit tables lower to transform into giant sun-beds. For even greater conviviality, there is an outdoor kitchen that includes a fridge, a barbecue and a sink. An on-board computer interfaces with the various control panels and instrumentation. An application for smartphone or tablet provides remote access to on board systems.
Hanse 548: Comfortable and spacious
Access to the interior of the Hanse 548 is made easy by a gently sloping companionway. The cabin is beautifully lit
thanks to the numerous deck hatches and dozen or so portholes.
Inside there are beautiful living spaces. Hanse’s new interior design features a mix of warm colors and natural materials. Ten different layout designs are available. You will feel right at home, while at sea, thanks to the customization options.
The Hanse 548 is available with 3 or 4 double berth cabins. The owner’s cabin has a king size berth with access on each side, as well as soundproofing. There are many storage lockers including three large wardrobes. Attention to detail can be seen throughout the interior: designer sofas, USB plugs, programmable lighting and a drop-down saloon table. Without forgetting the many storage spaces that are also found in the ergonomic kitchen. It is practical and well-designed thanks to the central island located at the foot of the companionway.
